KEY LEARNING POINTS FROM INTERNSHIP:
- Strengthened the ability of working in a team, through practicing active listening, letting go of pride, and asking questions to learn and grow.
- Acquired knowledge on the process of projects, such as key stakeholders (M&E, QS, Proj Manager, Contractors, etc), meetings with product suppliers, RFA (Request for Approval), RFI (Request for Information), DLP (Defects Liability Period), etc to name a few.
- Fostered smart thinking for efficient workflows, as I was doing a lot 3D modelling for interiors using Rhino, I utilized Grasshopper to help create easily customizable elements, eg. Custom Cabinet Command where its length, width, height, no. of doors, thicknesses of parts, are all fully customizable. See [Personal Works] in this website to learn more.

Nagore Dargah Indian Muslim Heritage Centre (ND IMHC) is a project that assigns us to reimagine the gallery space within the centre to create an interactive exhibit whilst maintaining its sacred experience as a memorial hall for their saint.

Its key design features include:
- Using demountable boards to create a journey within the gallery, and during non-exhibition hours, the boards can be removed and create open spaces for events
- Pamphlet with stamp card & curated journey maps linking key points of the stories, this helps users to create connections of the story of Indian Muslims, and they are also able to get a stamp for each point they arrive at.

THE STAMP CARD

To boost up the engagement within ND IMHC, stamp cards were created for visitors to be able to stamp artistic prints on their cards, known to be used as a form of “attendance record” or proof that the person has visited a certain location.

Stamp cards of different narratives will be provided for visitors to collect and stamp on the incomplete silhouettes to “complete” the card and finish their journeys.
